A passion for authenticity in every crimp

Why Tiddly Oggy?

"Tiddly Oggy" is an affectionate Cornish term for a pasty, used by miners who relied on these hearty, portable meals during long shifts underground. The thick crimped edge served as a handle—meant to be discarded after eating with dirty hands from the mines.

We chose this name to honor the rich heritage of the Cornish pasty while being transparent about our Australian roots. While we can't legally call our products "Cornish Pasties" (that designation is protected under UK/EU geographical indication laws for pasties made in Cornwall), we are completely committed to the traditional methods, recipes, and quality that make a true Cornish-style pasty special.

Filling the Gap Down Under

Australia has a love affair with pies, but let's be honest—most "pasties" here are really just meat pies in a different shape. They miss the rustic, chunky filling, the proper crimp, and that distinctive Cornish character.

That's where we come in. We're bringing authentic Cornish-style pasties to Australia, made the right way: hand-crimped, with chunky cuts of premium ingredients, proper seasoning (just salt and pepper—no fancy additives), and that golden, flaky pastry that's been perfected over generations.
